Policy on the use of cookies and similar technologies of SoloWay Studio
Effective date: September 16, 2026
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
1. General provisions
This Policy explains how the site soloway.studio (hereinafter **"Site") uses cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies.
The operator of the Site is SoloWay Studio. For cookie and privacy issues, please contact contact.solowaystudio@gmail.com.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website or a third-party service stores in the user's browser. They can help the site remember logins, settings, cookie choices and other information.
The site may also use:
- localStorage — the browser's local storage, in which data is stored until it is deleted by the user or the Site;
- sessionStorage — storage, from which data is usually deleted after the end of the session or closing the tab;
- pixels, tags, local identifiers and similar technologies of third-party services.
In this Policy, the word "cookie" also includes these similar technologies, as appropriate.
3. Categories of technologies
3.1. Necessary
Necessary for the basic operation of the Site, security, account login, saving cookie choices and providing the functionality that the user has directly requested.
Necessary technologies are not used for advertising profiling. They may operate without separate consent if permitted by law, as without them the relevant function will not work properly.
3.2. Functional
Remember user-selected settings and local lists, such as bookmarks, watch list or credit disclosure status.
If the repository is used solely for a feature that the user has activated, it may be necessary to provide that feature. In other cases, its use depends on consent settings and applicable law.
3.3. Analytical
Help to understand how users interact with the Site: which pages they visit, how long they stay, which functions they use and which errors they encounter.
Analytical cookies are not necessary to view the Site. Google Analytics and similar tools are only activated with the user's consent where such consent is required by law.
3.4. External media services
Used by third-party platforms when a user launches an embedded video or other external content. YouTube is such a service on the Site.
The external service can obtain the IP address, data about the device, browser, interaction with the player and information about the account of the corresponding service, if the user is authorized in it.
4. SoloWay Studio technologies
The following table describes the technologies that are used or may be used by the relevant functions of the Site. Part of the names contains a variable suffix, denoted by the symbol *.

The exact set of WordPress cookies may vary depending on whether the user is logged in, what features they have activated, and what settings are in effect at the time of the visit.
5. Google Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics to obtain aggregated statistics about visits and interactions with content.
After giving consent, Google Analytics may set, in particular, the following cookies:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Distinguishes between browsers or devices for generating statistics | Up to 2 years | |
_ga_* |
Stores and calculates session data for a specific Google Analytics resource | Up to 2 years | |
| Other Google Technical Identifiers | Protection, measurement and maintenance of the service depending on its configuration | According to Google settings |
Google may receive IP address, approximate location, device and browser data, referral source, pages visited and interactions with the Site.
We do not transfer names, email addresses or other direct user identifiers to Google Analytics.
Read more: Google Privacy Policy, How Google Uses Information from Sites and Applications and Google Cookie Technologies.
6. Embedded YouTube videos
Videos on the Site are loaded through the official embedded YouTube player. To reduce data collection, the youtube-nocookie.com domain is used where technically possible.
The image itself or the video launch button can be displayed without loading the full player. Connection to YouTube occurs after the user starts the video and, where required by law, after obtaining consent to external media services.
Once the player is activated, Google/YouTube may use cookies or local storage, including technical identifiers such as YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, PREF or their current equivalents. Exact names and terms are subject to change and are determined by Google.
YouTube can associate viewing with the user's Google account if the user is signed in to Google. SoloWay Studio does not control this data as the operator of the YouTube service.
More details: Google Privacy Policy, Google Cookie Technologies and YouTube Terms of Use.
7. How we obtain consent
During the first visit, the Site displays a banner with the option to:
- accept all categories;
- leave only the necessary technologies;
- change your choice later via the cookie setting button.
Opting out of analytical cookies and external media services does not block access to the main catalog, texts, credits and links.
Optional analytical and external media technologies are not activated until consent is given. Failure to respond, continuing to view the page, or scrolling does not constitute consent.
If the user launches third-party media content with a separate action, the Site may additionally inform that for its playback data must be transferred to the corresponding third-party service.
8. How to Change or Withdraw Consent
The user can open the cookie settings at any time using the "Cookie settings" button on the Site and change their choices.
The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal. After changing the choice, optional technologies are not loaded on subsequent visits, but already created third-party cookies may remain in the browser until they expire or are manually deleted.
To delete them immediately, use your browser settings.
9. Data management in the browser
Most browsers allow:
- view and delete cookies and site data;
- block all or individual third-party cookies;
- clear localStorage and sessionStorage;
- prohibit saving data after closing the browser;
- use private browsing mode.
If you block required cookies or local storage, login, bookmarks, watchlist, save settings, and other features may not work properly.
10. International data transfer
Google and other third-party providers may process data outside of Ukraine or the user's country of residence. The terms and mechanisms of such transfer are determined by the relevant provider and described in its privacy policy.
11. Changes to the Policy
We may update this Policy if Site features, vendors, analytics settings, or legal requirements change.
The current version is published on this page with the date of the update. If the changes significantly affect the scope of optional technologies, the Site may request consent again.
